Irish Theatre of Chicago is proud to be Chicago’s only professional theater company dedicated to presenting works that reflect the rich history and culture of Ireland.
We could use a hand!
Life…a lament in one ear and a song in the other.
Thoroughly Irish that and a most apt description of our feelings today. We lament not yet being able to meet the world with live performances in full productions of Irish plays…but we have plans and are prepping for the better time to come!
Our news is on the song side of Sean O’Casey’s wry observation. ITC is planning a full production for the spring of 2022 and will announce that Irish play with dates and the theater that will host us in January.
That is why we reach out for your help now. People all around the world are coming together in faith and hope to support and champion the causes they uphold and the communities in which they live. We hope that the Irish Theatre of Chicago will know your help this holiday season.
ITC is dedicated to creating Irish plays that stir the mind and move the heart with passionate ideas, compelling truths, and potent performances. Your support of that mission truly makes all the difference to Irish Theatre of Chicago’s onstage future in this great city. A gift of any amount helps ITC prepare the path to an opening night in the spring of 2022, welcoming you again to great Irish plays from Chicago’s only professional theatre dedicated to that mission.
With holiday season good wishes for your safety and well-being, now and throughout the year to come, we send you our deep gratitude for your support of the Irish Theatre of Chicago. And stand by for our soon-to-come news for 2022!
